Bloodthirst is an original ability introduced in Pokémon Solar Light and Lunar Dark.

Effect

In battle

The user's biting moves will also heal 1/8th of its total HP. Healing is negated if Heal Block is in play. The user takes damage if used on a target with Liquid Ooze. This does not count as an absorbing effect, so a Big Root will not boost it.

Trivia

• The code for this ability was created by Lucidious89 under the name Fang Leech.
• This ability is very similar to an ability called "Blood Lust" from Pokemon Uranium. But unlike Bloodthirst, Blood Lust can heal with any attacking Move rather then a Bite related Move and only heals by 1/16.
