Pokédex entry
While Budcheep are usually rather quiet, they'll start loudly chattering should they sense any danger. They are commonly kept as both pets and natural alarm systems.
The male is blue while the female is pink. However, real-life budgerigars can have their sexes told apart by the color of their ceres (fleshy area above beak, where nostrils are located).
In addition, real life budgerigars cannot be naturally pink.
Origin
Budcheep is based on a budgie.
Name origin
Budcheep's name comes from the words Budgie and Cheep.
Previous designs
Budcheep has not changed much. However, the old sprites are different because they have a bigger head and a thinner body.
