Pokédex entry

Male Budcherp are yellow, while the females are pink. However, real-life budgerigars can have their genders told apart by the color of their Ceres (fleshy area above their beak, where their nostrils are located).
In addition, real life budgerigars cannot be naturally pink.
Budcheep and Budcherp have only one letter difference from each other's spelling.
Also, Budsoar has one less letter in its name than the other two.
Prior to Version 1.0.1, Budcherp uses Weedle's cry.
Budcherp is the only part of its Evolutionary line that isn't blue for either coloration.
Origin[]
Budcherp is based on a budgerigar, and also a cockatiel.
Name Origin[]
Budcherp's name comes the words Budgie and a corruption of chirp.
Previous Designs[]
Budcherp has not changed too much, aside from the tail feathers, which were more basic-looking, and the female was more of a purple color. The female also had yellow instead of green, and had white tails and wings. The males had green tails and yellow in the middle of their wings. Perhaps the fact that Female Budcherp were originally purple is where their Shiny Coloration came from, although it was in a brighter shade of purple than the current design for its Shiny.
