Trivia

  • Prior to Version 1.0.1,Bugray uses Yanma's cry.
  • Bugray seems to be related to Ninjask; both are Bug/Flying-types, and both are very speedy physical glass cannons.
  • Bugray's Evolution, Dracofly, has a Type combination that no official Pokémon currently have.
    • However, Mega Flygon was intended to be in Pokémon X and Y, and it was speculated to be a Bug/Dragon-type.

Origin

Bugray is likely based on a common housefly due to its shape and being classified as the Pest Pokémon and probably also a horsefly, since they bite, and so does Bugray.

Name Origin

Bugray's name comes from the words Bug and gray.
