When it chases underground prey, it uses slits within its neck flaps to blow air and to knock away dirt and dust that may manipulate its electricity. It uses both x-ray and heat vision to seek its prey, and uses radiation to temporary incapacitate its prey's skeletal and muscular conditions, thus slowing it down, before delivering its paralyzing bite.
Unlike Snazap, Cobolta are much more aggressive. They signal foes to back away by rattling their tails to send electric volts around themselves and hissing.
Cobolta live in tall grass.
Cobolta can change the patterns on its body by directing the electrical current in its body. This is mostly for intimidation, though it sees use during mating seasons as well.
