Doveheart's tails and crests are styled after hearts. It has a mostly-white body with a small curl beneath the wings, similar to Togekiss. Their breasts, crests, and most of their tails are either pink or blue depending on their gender.
Male Doveheart are coloured blue in various places on their body, while female Doveheart on shaded pink on those areas instead. The female also have a smaller tail than the male.
Doveheart's most notable feature is that it has the power to calm aggressive feelings with its heavenly song. In areas of war, peacemakers may bring flocks of Doveheart to calm the fighting parties. Doveheart also has a slight power over infatuation, being able to strengthen bonds of love and weaken hateful feelings.
Doveheart is a very shy species, preferring not to fight. It crafts nests in the top of tall trees, which it decorates with shiny objects to attract mates. If they cannot win over a mate, they will instead begin a chorus of beautiful tones. This is usually less effective than the nest, but can occasionally work. Doveheart are common as household pets, as they can calm sibling rivalries and eat very little.
They live peacefully in trees.
It's said that the very presence of a single Doveheart can calm even the tensest situations. If both a male and female appear, mortal enemies become life-long allies.
