Trivia[]

  • Prior to Version 1.0.1, Fyant uses Tynamo's cry.
  • Fyant was originally going to either Evolve from or into another Pokémon (Anflik and Defyant, respectively).
  • In its old design, Fyant was generally smaller; its front legs were smaller and were orange, its four yellow legs were thinner and farther apart, it has fewer spots near its eyes that were red, its antennae were shorter, and its abdomen was much smaller, had a different pattern, and its rear had a yellow stinger with a red flame at the tip.
  • Fyant is the first Bug/Fire Type since Larvesta and Volcarona of Generation V. Also, Sizzlipede and Centiskorch were introduced in Sword and Shield, which are also Bug/Fire-types.
