Hippotone is a Pokémon based on a hippopotamus. Its body is mainly a somewhat dull grayish-blue; it has four somewhat dull grayish-blue legs with three tan toes on each foot, a short somewhat dull grayish-blue tail, tan mud on its back, and its somewhat dull grayish-blue head has two short somewhat dull grayish-blue ears, a large tan muddy nose, two black nostrils, two downwards-facing white teeth, and two white eyes with black pupils that have tan mud surrounding them, acting as a "mask".
