Lavenseed is a dual-type Grass/Fairy Pokémon.

It evolves into Lavenbelle starting at level 15, which evolves into Lavenrina when leveled up while knowing Teeter Dance, which is learned at Level 34.

Biology

Physiology

Lavenseed is a small, light pink creature, whose body is in the shape of a water drop. It has leaf-green eyes, a small pinkish-red gem-like ball on the tip of its head, which has two purple leaves on it, and tiny stubby light pink feet.

Gender Differences

None.

Special abilities

Lavenseed can dance beautiful dances that may confuse and hurt opponents. They can make Pokémon of the opposite gender fall in love with their cuteness just by physical contact. They can also let off a beautiful scent to cure allies from Sleep, Burn, Paralysis, Frozen and Poison status problems. Lavenseed spend most of their day basking in sunlight for necessary nutrients. They are attracted to kind people, though large crowds may scare them away.

Behavior

Generally, Lavenseed are shy and timid Pokémon, however they seem to be attracted to people that are kind. They dance a beautiful show when alone, but large crowds will scare it away. They prefer to come out in the daytime, basking in the sunlight for necessary nutrients, and will burrow themselves underground to sleep during night time, with only the purple petals sticking out of the ground.

Habitat

Lavenseed live in forests that have no pollution. They rest in certain flower beds, because they adore the scent. Wild Lavenseed are found in the grass in the Mossy Forest and in the Serpentine Garden.

Shiny Coloration Differences

For Shiny Lavenseed, the light pink body and feet turn a light purple, the eyes turn blue, the petals turn pinkish-purple in color, and the gem turns from pinkish-red to a raspberry red. However, Shiny Lavenseed's Over-world Sprite erroneously has the Regular Lavenseed's green eyes.

Trivia

  • Prior to Version 1.0.1, Lavenseed uses Spearow's cry.
  • Lavenseed was much smaller in its old designs.
  • As of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Lavenseed and its Evolutions, along with Cottonee, Whimsicott, Morelull, Shiinotic and Tapu Bulu are the only Grass/Fairy type Pokémon.
    • However, Prior to Generation VI, Cottonee and Whimsicott were Pure Grass-types, due to the fact that the Fairy-type wasn't added at the time.

Origin

Lavenseed is based on a seed that is starting to become a full lavender flower. Its physical appearance and ability to create beautiful smells may also tie in with it being based on perfume.

Name Origin

The name Lavenseed simply comes from the words Lavender and seed.
