Lunape is a large monkey Pokémon. It has a long blue tail with a white and cyan tip, two blue legs with blue toe-less feet, two blue arms with two blue mitten-like hands that are clenched into fists and a cyan crescent moon-shaped marking on each wrist, cream cream neck fur, a cyan crescent moon-shaped marking on its belly, a cream colored torso area, and a blue head with a tiny black nose, two cream ears with black insides, two white eyes with magenta irises and pinprick black pupils, a cream color around the lower part of its eyes, and a cyan crescent moon-shaped marking on its forehead.
Lunape are mischievous Pokémon, often using their psychic powers to play tricks on others. Their antics especially worsen on nights of the full moon.

Wild Lunape are found in Headbutt Trees in the Wild Plains (Rikoto's Safari Zone) and on Routes 15 and 19.
Shiny Coloration Differences
For Shiny Lunape, the blue turns a pinkish-purple, the cyan turns lavender, and the irises turn green.

In its old design, Lunape had a mainly darker colored body, smaller cream ears without insides, two antennae at the top of its head, a pointed-tipped tail, cream feet with a cyan circle on the bottom and three toes each, two cyan circles for eyebrows instead of a crescent moon on its forehead, no neck fur, a differently patterned chest and belly with a cyan ring with a cream circle inside, two cream hands that weren't clenched into fists and cyan just behind the wrists that didn't have crescent moon-shaped markings, and two very light pink irises. It was originally smiling, as well.
Prior to Version 1.0.1, Lunape uses Pikachu's cry.
