It Evolves from female Merkid when exposed to a Shiny Stone.

Biology

Mermarine is a Pokémon based on a mermaid. It has a pink "dress", a pink mermaid tail with two ends that have raspberry colored tips, a gold necklace at its waist, two pale green arms with three fingers on each hand-like fin, and its pale green head has red lips, two white eyes with light lavender irises and black pupils with pink mascara on its eyelids and black eye liner, a yellow shell acting as a queen's crown, and long raspberry hair.

Wild Mermarine are found by Surfing at the Victory Isle.

Shiny Coloration Differences

For Shiny Mermarine, the pink turns green, the raspberry turns reddish-orange and the skin turns a much lighter shade of green, which looks nearly white.
