Oriture is a Ground-type Pokémon.

It evolves from Toron starting at level 26 and evolves into Natoron starting at level 38.

Biology

Physiology

Oriture is a Pokémon based on a triceratops. Its body is mainly a very light gray, with a fairly long, very light gray tail with two yellowish-brown spikes near the tip. It's quadrupedal, with three claws on each foot. It head is shaped like a shield, which is mostly black in color, with two yellowish-brown colored flower petal-shaped markings on its forehead, and two yellowish-brown spikes on each side of its head. It has two eyes with yellowish-brown irises.

Oriture can detect vibrations in the ground with ease. When two Oriture are hunting the same prey, they would stomp on the ground to disrupt the other's tracking.

Trivia

  • Prior to 1.0.1, Oriture uses Rhyperior's cry.
  • Oriture's old design looks a bit similar to Forestone's current design. Oriture originally had a more turtle-like appearance, with a mainly brown body, a light gray face covering and shell with two tan spikes at the top, a tan spike where its nose would be, its irises were a light blue, a tan underbelly, and a tan curled tail.
