Platyplash is a fairly large duck-billed platypus Pokémon. It has two black webbed feet with three toes each, a large white tail with black on the outside and blue at the tip, two brown arms with light brown mud at its hands that have three black claws each, and a brown head with a brown tuft of hair, and white fur acting as whiskers growing at the base of its black duck bill that has blue in between its two white eyes with pinprick black pupils and blue eyelids. Light brown mud is also present on the lower part of its body, but not its feet or its tail.

Platyplash have a strange appearance and behavior, and hide within swamps as camouflage. Platyplash are easily irritated; and if they are, they will slap water or dirt using their tails to stun the offender, before attacking or fleeing. Most people don't believe they exist until they encounter one face to face.
Habitat[]
Platyplash live in nests made by the sides of ponds and rivers. Wild Platyplash are found by Surfing in the Tropic Jungle and on Route 21, and by Fishing with the Super Rod in Goldune Cave, in the Fallrock Valley, in the Wild Plains (Rikoto's Safari Zone) and on Route 4.
Shiny Coloration Differences[]
For Shiny Platyplash, the brown turns a dull grayish-green color, while the blue turns orange.
