Pollusion is a deer-like Pokémon based on pollution. It has four toxic purple legs with dark purple feet, a large toxic purple, dark purple and black tail, a black underbelly, three dark purple spikes on its chest, and its toxic purple and black head has two toxic green eyes with somewhat dark orange pupils, two black antlers with two spikes at the front of each, and two spikes; one that's dark purple at the back of its head and a toxic purple one at its forehead.
Because Pollusion is Gender-less, there are no gender differences for it.
Similarly to Grimer and Muk, and the opposite of Healthia, it destroys nature wherever it goes. A resentful spirit whose presence causes life to wither, Pollusion returns the harm done to the world and itself to polluters with tenfold severity.
Pollusion causes life to wither
There is only one Pollusion per save file; it can be found in the Rustbolt Landfill at the end of a side-quest during the post-game. CAUTION: you have to battle it twice to be able to catch it; you HAVE to defeat it the first time, since you cannot catch it until you battle it again. If you defeat it a second time, either by accident or if it uses Struggle, DO NOT SAVE THE GAME! You'll be unable to complete the Pokédex otherwise! Note: Pollusion can be Shiny when you have to defeat it to get the chance to catch it. Keep this in mind if you want to Shiny hunt it.
Shiny Coloration Differences
For Shiny Pollusion, the toxic purple turns a bright toxic green, the dark purple turns a duller shade of toxic green, the eyes turn yellow and the irises turn blue.
A resentful spirit whose presence causes life to wither, Pollusion returns the harm done to the world and itself to polluters with tenfold severity.
It's original design was drastically different, where it was more serpent like resembling the Snake Woman Hindu Mythical Creature, the Naga, it also having a pair of lobster-like claws and a collar in it's old design.
Also, it was originally a pure Poison-type.
Prior to Version 1.0.1, Pollusion uses ???'s Cry.
Despite being Gender-less, Pollusion has been referred to as a "She".
Pollusion is based on a deer, possibly the deer in Scythian mythology said to speed the spirits of the dead on their way.
Pollusion's name comes from the words Pollution and illusion.
