Purpole is a Pokémon based on a small tadpole. It has two tiny white fins, a small white tail, a white jawline and underbelly, two pink cheeks, and its back and the rest of its head are purple; the latter also has two light blue eyes with black pupils and the former has three pink spots.

Habitat[]
Wild Purpole are found by Fishing; use the Old Rod in the Tropic Jungle and in the Tropic Cave, and use the Old Rod and/or Good Rod in the Goopool Swamp.
Shiny Coloration Differences[]
For Shiny Purpole, the purple turns light green, while the eyes turn yellow.

This Pokémon was originally named Poipole, but this name was changed in order to avoid confusion when Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon Versions introduced an official Pokémon with the same name.
In its old design, Purpole was fatter, its tail was shaped differently and has purple at the base, its eyes were different, and its cheeks seemed to have looked like teeth.
