Purryo is a quadrupedal feline Pokémon possessing a flame on the tip of its long red tail. Below the flame appears to be some sort of fire holder that seems to be made of bandages, which holds the fire on its tail. Its body is mainly a sandy color with numerous markings of red, orange and yellow. Its underbelly is red in color to give the impression of being powerful, threatening creatures associated with fire. It has a red furry collar surrounding its neck. Its tail and ears are striped orange, yellow and red, respectively, and black insides. Purryo has small paws that are red in color with some additional red above. It has two white eyes with green irises and small black pupils.
Purryo can use powerful fire attacks using its generally warm body. Like Purrlit, it possesses claws at the foot of its paws, which allow it to perform powerful slashing moves. This also allows it to dig underground and use various sand-related attacks, due to its nature of kicking sand around.
Purryo is a rumbustious rapscallion that loves to cause mischief on and with others of its kind. Because of this, it will rarely evolve into a kind and well-behaved Flearoe.
Purryo lives in large open fields and deserts, but it is scarce in the wild, so is not as common as other Pokémon living in these areas. It will live together with other Purryo and Purrlit, and regularly reside with a leader Flearoe. There are no Wild Purryo in this game, however, so you must Evolve a Purrlit to obtain one.
Shiny Coloration Differences
For Shiny Purryo, the sandy color turns gray, the red turns chartreuse, the orange and yellow turn a lighter shade of their respective colors, and the irises turn light blue.
Purryo is a rapscallion among Pokémon, loving to cause mischief with other Purryo. Perhaps this is why it usually fears evolving into the well-behaved Flearoe.
