It evolves into Shrimpoon when leveled up while knowing Scald.

Shrimpet is a Pokémon based on a shrimp. It has a light yellow and orange striped body, an orange tail with two pointed ends, four tiny black legs, two small light blue eyes with black pupils and two long, wavy black antennae.

Shrimpet cannot properly defend itself from predators, so it must utilize the environment to protect itself. Living near underwater volcanoes have made them heat-resistant.

Shrimpet are unable to defend themselves from predators properly, so they rely on their environment for protection. Additionally, living near underwater volcanoes have made them able to withstand heat.

Habitat[]

Wild Shrimpet are found by Fishing; use the Good Rod at the Fishing Contest, in the Wild Plains (Rikoto's Safari Zone), at the Victory Isle and on Routes 8, 19 and 21, and use the Old Rod in all of the same areas except Route 21.

Shiny Coloration Differences[]

For Shiny Shrimpet, the eyes turn pink, while the orange turns lime green.

  • Prior to Version 1.0.1, Shrimpet uses Masquarain's cry.
  • In its old design, Shrimpet was more shrimp-like in appearance, with a curled body, its antennae were much thinner, the yellow was in a brighter shade, its legs were a bit longer, and its tail was light blue and had two rounded ends.
