The player's house lies on the southwest corner of Soltree Town and is where the player lives before beginning their journey. The player's parents live here.
After running into Keira in Mossy Town, you can go back to your house and your dad will give you the PokéGear. Your mom will also give you Running Shoes. After this, you can come back to your house anytime and your mom will heal your Pokémon.
There are two rooms in the player's house; the main floor and the upper floor. If you go to the upper floor, you can interact with the laptop on the desk to access your PC. Nothing else can be interacted with in the house.
Rodney's house
Rodney's house is located on the southeast corner of Soltree Town, east of the player's house. When the player first visits his house, Rodney's mother will tell the player about how Rodney went on his own journey. After this, if the player tries to go up into Rodney's room, his mom will not let you, stating that it's an "ultimate chaos."
The player is unable to interact with any items in Rodney's house.
Professor Pinewood's Laboratory
Professor Pinewood's Laboratory is located in the north of the town. Professor Pinewood currently specializes in the habitats of Pokémon and the environment that Pokémon live in. The player, Rodney, and Keira get their starter Pokémon from Professor Pinewood here at the start of their journeys. Rodney will choose the starter strong against yours, and Keira will choose the starter weak against yours. After choosing your starter, Professor Pinewood will give you a Pokédex.
On your way out of the laboratory, one of Professor Pinewood's assistants will run up to you and give you a Potion.
Demographics
The population of Soltree Town is 10. It is one of the smallest towns in Rikoto, like most of the starting towns in other regions.

Although the Alola Region doesn't really have a town where the Player begins Pokemon Sun, Moon and Ultra Sun and Moon, Alola Route 1 is similar to to a starting town, since it, obviously, has the Player's house and has the region's Professor's Lab.
