Spidox is a dual-type Poison/Bug Pokémon.

It evolves into Widox starting at level 20.

Biology

Physiology

Spidox are purple and black spider like Pokémon with green fangs that possess toxic chemicals inside. They have a red 'H' shaped marking on the back of their black backs, much like a black widow does.

Special abilities

Spidox possess poison inside their fangs, so when people and Pokémon are bitten, they need to be treated before the poison begins to physically damage their bodies. They can also create spider webs that are dangerous to get caught in.

Behavior

Spidox are not very bright Pokémon, so regularly bite completely random strangers and Pokémon without knowing what they had just done. Spidox create their own homes using a series of different string shots and web making.

Habitat

Spidox live in spider webs in which they create deep inside dark forests.

Trivia

Spidox shares a similar appearence to a reccuring character named Jeff from the TV Show, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, who happens to be a spider that resamples a Black Widow like Spidox.

Spidox has had many different designs through the devolopment of Solar Light and Lunar Dark. One of these designs had it with 6 skinny legs and it was shaped like a toy car. It also had a purple face in it's older designs.

Origin

Spidox is based on a spider, most likely a Black Widow, judging from the pattern it has on its back.

Name origin

Spidox name comes from the two words spider and toxic.
