Swampheap is a dual-type Dark/Grass Pokémon.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Swampheap is a large swamp monster. Its body shape is similar to Muk's. Swampheap's body is mostly a murky black, with two pieces green moss that resemble arms with three fingers on each hand, the top of its head has moss with two shades of green, having a bright green with two mossy curls on top and a lighter green below. It has a large gaping mouth with a large dark green tongue. It has two chartreuse eyes with a pinprick pupil in each eye, and the outer part of the eyes are a yellow color.

Wild Swampheap are found by Surfing around the murky water in the Goopool Swamp.

Shiny Coloration Differences[]

For Shiny Swampheap, the black body turns a more saturated bluish-black, the green moss turns a more saturated color, the eyes turn orange, and the outer parts of the eyes turn a light blue.

Trivia[]

  • Swampheap currently has the highest Base HP Stat of all Grass-type and Dark-type Pokémon.
  • Swampheap also currently has the highest Base HP Stat of all of the Pokémon in the Rikoto Region.
    • However, it has the second lowest Base Speed Stat of all Grass- and Dark-type Pokémon; only Vennap is slower than it.
  • It replaced Gatorock, who was in the game prior to the full release.

Swampheap is based on a Swamp monster. Its design appears to be based on Muk, which is also a blob, but is made of toxic sludge instead.
