Yayak is a dual-type Normal/Water Pokémon.

It evolves into Yakkle starting at level 37.

Biology

Physiology

Yayak is a based off of a baby yak. It has a brown colored main body, four brown legs with dark gray feet with two toes each, a tail that has an oval-shaped end that's brown, light blue and dark gray, a dark gray back with a curved light blue stripe below, two brown ears, two light blue horns, a bovine-like nose and two eyes with black pinprick pupils.

Special Abilities

Yayak avoids any humans that approach them, hiding back into their herd. A Yayak separated from their herd becomes agitated at all times.

Behavior

Yayak are very shy, avoiding any approaching humans, hiding back into their herd. However, if one is separated from its herd, it will become angry until it's reunited with the herd.

Habitat

Yayak are found in the grass and by Surfing in the Wild Plains (Rikoto's Safari Zone).

Shiny Coloration Differences

For Shiny Yayak, the light blue turns green and the brown turns a greenish-brown.
